Where does inspiration come from? Who can really know. But one thing is for certain. Whether it is inspiration for a book, a machine, a design, a symphony or a song, the impetus to share with other human beings is strong and universal. And even when the creator is normally and naturally shy or reserved, like Emily Dickenson, Tchaikovsky, and so many artists, the will and effort to share has been documented. However, their efforts usually have been subject to the whims and understandable economic considerations of business. In this respect, the internet is proving to be an important medium, allowing direct contact between artists and discriminating consumers who may not always or easily find their musical preferences fulfilled in the mass marketplaces of popular music. In this instance, we respectfully submit for your consideration the works of songwriter, Ricardo Dominguez. About these songs Carlos Almenar Otero, himself a singer and teacher, has commented, " As far as the lyrics, the music, and perfomance, these new boleros are top quality .'' Almenar Otero has been internationally recognized as an artist and a judge of musical talent on television's popular ''CUANTO VALE EL SHOW ''. The songs are performed by Jose Luis Rios, and arranged by Howard Ferguson.
Jose Luis Rios can sing in many styles, from traditional Latin to up-beat contemporary - in English or Spanish. In this album he sings new boleros and baladas. He is 26, single, and is currently living and performing in New York.
