Description

Joquan da Hooligan was born in Detroit Mi. A seventies baby, da Hooligan came up during the hip hop evolution. He started rapping at the early age of 9 and hasn't stopped since then. He's worked with Detroit's Most Wanted, Swift of D12, Los from the Raw Collection and DJ King David of the Mountain Climbaz. He's also an affiliate of NBG Records and Ova Ground Records with his cousin Fing-uh-mann, former member of the 90's Detroit hip hop sensation, the DBG'z. Hooligan has been on the streets of Detroit selling his independent cd's since the year 2000. He has cds sold in many parts of Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Iowa, and Canada. Joquan is not just a "rapper". He's a lyricist, graphics artist, movie and video producer and one of Detroit's most slept on underground m.c.'s. Joquan made his underground film debut with the weedhead anthem, "the ghost of the alien weedhead". This movie is definitely an underground classic. Joquan's rap flows are not bling-bling or murda, murda, kill, kill. His flows are metaphoric, diverse, and hit the struggles of the urban cities on point. He can get political and get you on the floor all in one CD. He definitely sets no limits as to what he can create.
