Why this one you may ask? modern music is in desperate need of some crazed mad-scientist innovator to come and overthrow the status quo. No one can argue with that. Steve Lieberman is just that innovator. While his first 3 releases, BAD'LANIA RISING(2002), JEWISH LIGHTNING(2003) AND DESERT FEVER BRIGADE(2003) have never been critics' favourites because of Steve's unorthodox production values, 2004's LIQUIDATIA-455, is actually produced well, crisply and angrily and professionally mastered.
In this one, Steve, while holding fast to his Hebrew Zionist heratage lashes out at his critics, the on-going conflict of the Hebrews and Arab Nations, racism and the sorry state of music today. Musically, he continues to astonish with his abilities to make the bass sound like a Stratocaster on an overdose of steroids and bedazzles with his pissed-off bumble-bee speeded mastery of the overblown curved-headed flute.
Lieberman hopes LIQUIDATIA already receiving rave reviews from international punk AND metal arenas will have such an impact in modern music that young bands will be trading their guitars for basses with fuzz boxes and flutes.
