Description
LuAnn Adams is a nationally known storyteller who has received 14 grants from the Procter & Gamble/Cincinnati Playhouse to create and tour a new program each year of "Folktales for the 21st Century" - folktales and inspirational stories for young people coming of age in the 21st Century. In performance, LuAnn uses puppets, music and lots of audience partipation to bring her stories from around the world 'to life.' LuAnn performs in schools, libraries, museums, zoos and aquariums. She teaches a master storytelling class and storytelling for puppeteers at Northwestern University. Her training includes: B.A. in Theatre Arts and Child Psychology (Macalester College) and M.F.A. in Acting (Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University.)
