Description
'Mainly Manly Music' is Tony Penultimate's first album (1999) and as the title suggests it is a hairy arsed, hard hitting collection of songs from a hirsute viewpoint.
Whether climbing the north face of the Eiger, running in front of the bulls in Pamplona or wrestling with priceless white jaguars in the jungles of Sumatra - Tony Penultimate always has a song on his lips.
A self made millionaire by the age of 30, Tony took time out to ponder the eternal questions that have tormented philosophers down the ages:
Who am I?
Why am I here?
Does Love exist, and if so where?
So, gentle listener - if you like your music passionate, pretentious, preposterous and pompous then look no further.
Also, if you're fond of alliteration, you should feel right at home!
Many song genres jostle uneasily together here and reflect the internal conflicts within the man: Rock, Europop, Country, Latin, tormented Ballad, all the way to the bravura of the gay military march - 'I Go For A Chauffeur'.
PLEASE NOTE: - Despite Tony being a multi millionaire, this album is a CD-R with a colour photocopy inlay.
