REVIEWS:
"PunkFr" (French fanzine)
(Translated from French)
First official exit for this young group of the banlieu of Seattle (the USA), "Just one chance" is already a beautiful part. Produced relatively well (very far from the sound "at the bottom of the garage" from much of young formations ska) and arranged, the group shows already large qualities in this field. The beautiful voice of the
singer adds an unquestionable sensitivity to this formation. The songs are rather copied on melodies a little "variety" but without never overflowing on the pop one (presence of brass in each song, guitar
ska). The rate/rhythm is hopping and is rather enjou (see "Tied Down"). Certain song left the batch but the album is rather constant. In short an album of good ska for a group which can still make a max of progrs (brass solos should be exploited because they are very well
played) and which will be of not to doubt a formation to follow in next times. Worth Title: "Tied Down", "Maybe I should" (a little rnb jamacain very succeeded), "All I ever wanted"....
