Seen by some fans as the origins of the unique sound of Bjorn Lynne's melodic electronica which would later be refined on albums such as "The Void" and "Colony", "Dreamstate" is still considered a favorite among some Bjorn Lynne listeners.

Description
After already having self-financed and self-published two albums, Dreamstate was the first of Bjorn Lynne's albums that was released on a record company and widely available in the record stores. It is a crossover album between the electronic music made popular by Jarre, Vangelis and Mike Oldfield, mixed with symphonic rock inspired by groups such as Genesis, Rush and Pink Floyd.
"Dreamstate" has a pulse and deep vibe which has since been the trademark of much of Lynne's music. Also featuring the fantastic cover artwork of artist Tobias Richter.
- "This is my favourite CD by Bjorn Lynne. It's a great electronica album featuring some really great songs like Progress and Digital Phoenix, which I think is some of his best songs in general. My favourite track on this album has to be the bonus track though. The "Now What Medley" is really cool to listen to if you ever heard Bjorn's early Amiga modules, and has tons of great "tiny tunes" in it. :)" - Jrn sen, Norway
- "My favorite Lynne album. Period." - Mahendra Tallur, France
