Black Flamingo has been performing for the past decade in NYC.
Starting as a singer/songwriter in her own band, and now singing with her guitar doing solo, duo, trio, whatever comes her way some bands she was lead singer for were 'The Blue Tongues, '6-3-rat', & 'Vinny'.
NYC, London, Philadelphia & Washington, DC & a short lived time in a boarding school; falling in & out of love, crazy experimenting, losing loved ones to AIDS, drugs, cancer, etcare where her life experience comes from & she sings about it.
She was a featured artist on the Woman Of MP3.com ..she is an INDIEGRRL performer& has performed in CMJ. She was featured on the Oxygen Network for her work with benefit productions, & for her music.
She has been on cable tv zillions of times, News 4 NY, lots of talk shows, her song 'everything I do is 4 U', was in the film 'the Vampire Project'.
She has been called 'sophisticated punk' Her songs hit hard topics always in a delivery everyone can understand , & always leaves you with a smile
Black Flamingo has founded Music & Love, an organization that produces benefits for charities.
Some of them have been; the annual Valentine's Benefit for God's Love We Deliver, the NYC charity that delivers meals to homebound people with AIDS, Hale House, the charity that cares for babies born drug addicted and/or infected with AIDS, Greenpeace, & so many more some past performers at these events have been Joey Ramone, Ronnie Spector, Patti Smith, the Spin Doctors, David Johansen/Buster Poindexter, & Tony Randall
