Description
Brad B is undoubtedly a rising star of underground hip-hop, and his sophomore effort, Drifter, is highly anticipated all over the U.S. In 2005, Brad B is going to conquer new grounds, both at home and abroad, starting with a European tour in the spring. However, recognition has not come overnight for this emcee. Brad B spent his formative years in the healthy climes of Indianapolis, Indiana, but it wasn't until he moved to Arizona that the lyrical seeds of this emcee began to grow. Since the late 90's when Brad B began rhyming with his group Drunken Immortals, he has introduced some of the most potent words to rhythms that the west coast underground has heard in recent years. And it is from this Drunken Immortals unit that Brad B formed a working bond with his producer Foundation. The freshness and quality of Brad B's solo work can be attributed to the close working relationship between himself and Foundation- this understanding of two minds coming together seamlessly is evident with a first listen to Brad B's albums. His words range from mystic tales to true-to-life messages which make it clear that this youngblood is not too keen on conforming to the hip-hop ethics dictated by mass media, allowing him to keep his style genuine and powerful on each new track he releases.
Brad B has shared the stage with the likes of: Aesop Rock, Living Legends, Krs-One, Sage Francis, Talib Kweli, MF DOOM, to name a few.
