Description
As a result of Elyse O'Connor's extensive vocal training and performances in New England alone, thousands have enjoyed her music. Hers is a distinctly clear, confident, and soothing sound graced by flute and guitar accompaniment. In her albums, Elyse delivers a new flavor and style to songs we know, songs in other languages, and songs Elyse has composed from
her own heart. Information about her album "Alleluia 2001" as well as her newest album preview, "Just Love," is available at www.elyseoconnor.com.
When Elyse isn't performing her music for her audiences, she
teaches writing and communication skills at the Univeristy of Massachusetts. She also taught writing and literature at Boston University for many years. As a singer/songwriter,
Elyse brings her professional skills together in her albums
and brings her knowledge and experience to music students of her own in private study sessions.
The complete album of "Just Love" is scheduled for release
before the end of 2005. Portions of the profits from the
sale of "Just Love Album Preview" will be applied to the
expenses incurred during the completion of the full album and also as a donation to AMUSE, Inc, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping artists and musicians fund their creative projects.
You can also hear Elyse on a new complilation cd, "Carepackage" at www.carepackagecd.com. Profits from the sales of that cd are being donated to the victims of the 2004 Asian Tsunami and other victims of disaster.
