Description
Far From Westfall is comprised of four guys from four different musical backgrounds who somehow seem to mesh as close to perfect as any member had experienced in the past. Of course there's the drama of any working relationship, but what they have going for them just keeps growing, with huge steps in the right direction. Since 2002, they've acquired an enormous cult-like fan base, have sold almost 1,000 copies of their first EP, always have much bigger and better shows being booked, and have released their new EP in May, 2005. Both musically and promotionally, the band has made tons of huge steps to bring themselves towards where they strive to be. None of this comes without relentless hard work from all members of the band, friends, and everyone who comes out to see them.
The guys formed Far From Westfall in 2002, based out of Kutztown, Pennsylvania, and since then has been performing all over Pennsylvania and New York City. With one EP under their belt, another to be released in May, and constant performances in which they frequently fill a four-hour set on their own, they clearly realize the what needs to be done to get where they want to be.
Far From Westfall is extremely passionate about writing great songs, has a great time rehearsing and perfecting material, and loves putting on the tightest, most powerful shows for their fans possible. They are constantly sizing themselves up, and searching diligently for any fine tunings that they can apply to make their sound just that much better.
The band is itching to release their new EP, feeling that it may leave the Breathe Out EP in the ashes, and although no band should ever forget where they started, FFW feels strongly that in comparison to the new album, Breathe Out will clearly be just that; "The Start." The constant challenge to raise the bar keeps them new to themselves, and this feeling, the fire inside that burns through their soul, is a feeling of love for the music. A love that they all realize will forever burn, because it is all they have ever wanted to do. Make music for fans that love to hear it. To them, it is all there is.
