Description
GREG JASPERSE
Greg Jasperse currently works in and around Chicago where he freelances as a singer, pianist, writer and teacher. He has played and/or musical directed such shows as Clint Holmes' Comfortable Shoes, Barry Manilow's Could It Be Magic, the Royal George's Forever Plaid , Elmhurst College's Company. While performing two seasons in Ellington Under the Stars at Walt Disney World's Epcot Center, Greg sang with and/or arranged back-up vocals for the late Rosemary Clooney, the late Joe Williams, Dianne Reeves, Diane Schuur, Toni Tennille, Jon Secada, and Gloria Estefan. His studio work includes Johny Mathis' most recent Christmas album, Orange Bowl Halftime shows, Walt Disney's 101 Dalmations Sing-A-Long Album, the Starbright Foundation's The Emperor's New Clothes, Warner Brother's Baby Looney Tunes, as well as the Carl Fischer, Hal Leonard and Shawnee Press choral demos.
As an educator and published choral arranger and composer, his music and passion for today's youth take him to festivals and music camps all across the US and Canada. He is a graduate of the University of Miami and Western Michigan University.
He is a member of the International Association of Jazz Education, Screen Actors Guild, the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, and the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers.
