Description
Detroit Funk/Jazz Fusion is a new form of Jazz-Fusion invented by Matthew MCR Ellison II (A Native Detroiter).
The music is a fusion of the underground musical sounds of Detroit which are Techno,House,P-Funk and Electronic Music combined with Jazz, Jazz-Funk, Underground Hip Hop/Break Beats and Groove.
The music is created using live and electronic instruments.
The instruments used in the recording(s) are Bass Guitar, Keyboards, Synthesizers and Drum Machines. The music created is 100% original. There are no samples or computers used. All the instruments are played by Matthew MCR Ellison II (Myself). Matthew also does all of the production, mixing, writing and CD Artwork as well.
By using this arrangment of instruments, a new sound is created that has the compositional elements of Jazz, a Techno/House Vibe, the punch of Underground Hip Hop Breakbeats and a Groove Funkier than 2 Dead Skunks in a bucket of Chitlins. This CD will move you like Prune Juice!!
