Description

Thin Acid Angel formed in 2000 out of late night sessions at the legendary Coast Recorders in San Francisco. It was the place to lay tracks for many artists both famous and unknown, before becoming another casualty to the real estate greed during the dot-com bubble (ah, the memories...).

Before the tape machine and console were ripped out, artists Loren Routh and Minor Gray finished their first album, dubbed "Mongrel". Named for the numerous pedigrees of sound and location, Mongrel is both hard rocking and trance-inducing.

After playing with a number of other musicians in many of the clubs in San Francisco, they hit the perfect combination with the addition of Dainzo on bass and Beerwolf on drums.

TAA's live shows are straight-up hard rock, with tight arrangements and an unpredictable stage show.
