Over and Over
Neenah Pool
Neenah Pools sound can best be described as indie-fusion: the love child between the guitar textures and songwriting of Ani Difranco and the New Orleans funk of Galactic, with just enough Latin groove to make you wonder.

Description
Neenah Pool's sound can best be described as indie-fusion: the love child between the guitar textures and songwriting of Ani Difranco and the New Orleans funk of Galactic, with just enough Latin groove to make you wonder. Their live shows are not only captivating and passionate, but also evoke a guttural emotion that longs to express and aches to feel, all at the same moment.
Driven by his unique vocal presence, intricate guitar textures, and intriguing lyrical stylings, Kennedy continues to weave together a group of musicians that push the envelope of cultural popularity. Neenah Pool appears as a four piece with Ben pounding his guitar, yelling, singing, and dancing around a bit, Lori Kennedy blending her angelic vocals with world percussion, Chris Como on bass, and Corey Suter on drums.
Neenah Pool is not stationary, in any sense of the word. We are constantly moving, growing, evolving...and continuing to increase the awareness of sound and self through the portraits of life we paint on stage. "The stories of our own humanity are the truth we all encounter daily, but if our music can lead to the discovery of one another, then we need not fall and flail quite so violently," remarks 26 yr. old Ben Kennedy.
