Hard Road
The New Relics
At the Crossroads of Rock and Alt-Country lies the sound of The New Relics; they threw out the book on everything they knew and concentrated on the basics; the lyrics, the story, and a good driving beat.

Description
The New Relics have progressed more than musically with this new record. Hard Road is exactly that. A collection of songs that allow to see what the band is thinking and where they are going and all the hard times that take them there.
With their sophmore effort, The New Relics threw out the book on everything they knew and concentrated on the basics; the lyrics, the story, and a good driving beat. Those ideas took them to a realm of music even they were surprised to the outcome. With more rock and edge, yet still retaining the introspective thoughts of Mike Arbogast's lyrics, The New Relics just plain delivers on this record. Songs like "What He See in Her" and "Ann Arbor" take a new twist. Songs like "Evaporating" and Stage" allow them to be two different sounding band yet retaining a common theme. "Middle America" is just plain ready to be the next big radio hit, and radio stations are calling for it.
With a fresh new sound, and songs that remain timeless. The New Relics deliver the goods on "Hard Road"
