Nourhan Sharif has been a practitioner of the healing art of Raks Sharqi for 30 years, specializing in Egyptian, Lebanese Cabaret and Folkloric Dance. As an award winning performer, and, teacher of numerous workshops in the United States, Europe, Asia, and, Canada, Nourhan has promoted the visibility and preservation of this art form. She has produced, sponsored, and, directed: festivals, galas, musical compilations, instructional videos, featuring international artists and master instructors of Oriental Dance and music.
She also has years of improvisational performance experience specializing in Lebanese Cabaret , and is known for her coaching of these this area as well as performing the intricate choreographies of Yousry Sharif.
