Description
In the past few years the jazz standards have become a passion of mine. I grew up in a world of classical musicians. I did my undergraduate work at Cincinnati Conservatory of music and my Masters at Southern Methodist in Dallas, TX. Following graduation I sang with the Dallas Opera. Since moving to Minneapolis I have been playing piano and singing for corporate parties and private events. A few years ago I met John Trygstad, a talented pianist and together we assembled a set of nostalgic jazz standards. I am thrilled to have some of my family on this CD along with the highly revered saxophonist, Kenni Holmen.
