Description
As a fan of so many different styles and sounds, singer/songwriter Mark Romney is creating something to hold on to. With a rabid desire for recording at home and his desire to grow as a songwriter, Mark has tried to find bridges between the artists he loves and the pop sounds of the radio. Originally from Spokane, Washington, Mark started songwriting at a young age. His mother and some creative teachers encouraged Mark to explore life and thought through poetry and art.
Mark's newest offering "The Recycled Thoughts EP" demonstrates his ability to use the inspiration of various influences to build new bridges.
Mark performs with an array of pedals at his feet. Each show is different from the last. As a solo performer Mark fills in the sonic gaps by looping both sounds from his guitar and voice. Mark has performed at venues like the Hotel Caf in Los Angeles, The Electric Theater in St. George, The Owl Bar at Sundance, and Caf Paradiso in Eugene, Or. Winning people over one show at a time, Mark contiues to build a loyal fan base as he tours the western states.
