Some of the highlights of Ron's career includes: Studying under jazz great, Donald Byrd; playing an integral part of the grammy nominated band 'Liquid Soul'; forming his own horn section, the 'Chicago Storm Horns, which went on to join the Ohio Players; taking on the role of horn section leader then bandleader for the 'Mac Men,' for Midnight Mac with Bernie Mac, Also a member of Ramsey Lewis Urban Knight's. Ron is now on tour with Lenny kravitz 2005 tour.
