Description
Garden Planet was the first CD exploring a music style we have called newBossa.
We have used the term newBOSSA to describe this music, because it is sophisticated as the traditional bossanova and yet incorporating a more contemporary twist to it in our own unique way; A mix of undulating bossanova, complex harmonies and American Jazz.
This CD was recorded in 1995 with the original Group that knowingly or not initiated the use of the term/style of playing in the Greater Boston area.
Most of the material is original with a few exceptions of traditional Brazilian cover songs that were arranged to fit the same style.
