Description
Lots of bands say they're all about the music, but Honey White proves it every time they get together and just play. The band began in Santa Barbara during 2002 when the brothers Bryn and Keir DuBois recruited guitarist Brian Wolff and drummer Bill Fedderson to help them mash together rock, roots, punk, and reggae into a unique mix of expansively epic noise. Honey White soon plowed into the chaotic Isla Vista vortex of keg parties and guerrilla gigs, and also teamed up with other acts in downtown Santa Barbara during the following year. The band's first formal recordings were released as the "My Band Rocks" EP, which was praised as "some of the finest music to come out of Isla Vista" by the Santa Barbara Independent. The band continues to gig and record in the Santa Barbara area.
