Karina Van Ron presents her new album, the second of her solo career: Decadent Delight. Mostly edgy, stylish, dark and sexy.

It is an album produced by Richard Coleman, where this singer, musician, songwriter actress, proposes an organic mixture of elegant pop, rock and electronica, emphasizing the song format, but without forgetting spaces for sound experimentation.

12 songs written By Karina Van Ron, some in collaboration, where she sings, plays guitar and keyboards, next to musicians like Richard Coleman(Soda Stereo,Friccion, L7D) Ricky Saenz Paz (Clap,L7D) & Fernando Samalea(Friccion, Clap,Sexteto Irreal).

The lyrics go from a profound and dramatic introspection, to an aparent teenage inocence of mixed emotions, specially in the spanish songs.
These songs propose a crossover between mainstream and elements of avant garde that flirt with '80's glam.
triangles is the first single and Video from K.V.R.'s "Decadent Delight" , edited in Buenos Aires,Argentina on the Pop Art label with distribution by EMI.
The video was filmed in Buenos Aires, by MTV nominated Director Nahuel Lerena (Juanes, Daniela Herrero).

KARINA VAN RON was born in New York, where she learned various instruments and later on moved to Buenos AIres, Argentina, where from 10 years old she has been releasing albums, recording vocal sessions for albums, tv and radio, as well as performing Theatre. At 14, she continued yet at another professional Theatre Company.
At 16, Karina Van Ron picks up bass playing, and starts Bad an Beautiful (a girl duo ala Veruca Salt/Hole) andin between her dirtbike motorcycle, she escapes high school and travels to New York, Boston, Austin and Houston.
Finally in the middle of a Tour, K.V.R. arrives in Los Angeles, and never leaves. In Hollywood she studies acting at the Leee Strasberg Theatre for 5 years with Cathy Leslie and Marc Marno.

A while later, Karina Van Ron is chosen among 500 bass players to accompany Courtney Love for a while, with her band HOLE.

K.V.R. releases her first Solo album MEDICATE ME; where she choses "Heart shaped box" and records a spanish version, which she calls "Caja de corazon".
THE # 1 KroQ radio in Los Angeles, DJ JED the Fish, plays her spanish version of the song on the air .
K.V.R.'s "Porque te vuelvo a ver" reaches the top 20 World Charts in London, England and stays there for 20 weeks, played by Revolution Radio in the U.K.

KARINA VAN RON was approached by Hustler.
Later by Playboy, through her Hollywood agent for a $250,000 layout for Playboy.

Karina Van Ron presenta un nuevo trabajo discogrfico, el segundo de su carrera solista: Decadent Delight.

Es un disco producido por Richard Coleman, en el cual esta cantante, compositora y actriz propone una mixtura orgnica y elegante de pop, rock y electrnica, poniendo nfasis en el formato cancin, pero sin olvidar los espacios para la experimentacion sonora. Doce temas compuestos por ella, algunos en colaboracin, en los que canta, toca la guitarra y los teclados, junto a msicos como el mismo Coleman, Ricky Saenz Paz y Fernando Samalea.

En cuanto a las letras encontramos un espectro que abarca desde la profunda introspeccion dramatica, hasta una aparente inocencia adolescente, especialmente en los cortes en castellano "Triangulos" y "Sonaba con tenerte". Estas canciones proponen un crossover entre el sonido mainstream y elementos de vanguardia que coquetean con el glam de los '80.

Tringulos es el tema elegido como primer corte y videoclip de Decadent Delight, que es editado por Pelo Music/ Pop Art / EMI y ya est en las disquerias en Buenos Aires, Argentina.

El CD Decadent Delight de Karina Van Ron y el videoclip de Triangulos fueron presentados a la prensa e invitados especiales el jueves 25 de noviembre en el Roxy del barrio de Palermo.

Karina Van Ron , cantante y compositora, actriz y msico.

Nacida en N.Y. aprende a cantar, tocar el piano, guitarra y bajo elctrico.

En Buenos Aires, desde los 10 aos recorra los estudios haciendo sesiones vocales, editando discos. y tocando conciertos de piano clsico. Paralelamente, actuaba en obras de teatro. A los 14, pas a una compaa profesional.

A los 16, entre su banda Bad & Beautiful (un do de mujeres tipo Veruca Salt/Hole) y su moto de cross, se escapa de la escuela y parte a Londres, New York, Boston, Austin y Houston. Finalmente en el medio de una gira, K.V.R llega a Los Angeles. No se va.
En Los Angeles actuacin 5 aos en el Lee Strasberg Institute, con los directores Marc Marno y Cathy Leslie.

Un tiempo despus, Karina es elegida entre 500 bajistas para acompaar por un tiempo a Courtney Love, en el grupo musical Hole.

Edita su primer CD como solista, "Medicate me", donde versiona en castellano una cancin de Nirvana titulada "Heart Shaped box", la cual titula "Caja de Corazon". La radio numero uno de Los Angeles pasa la cancin versionada en castellano de Karina Van Ron por KROQ.
"Porque te vuelvo a ver" llega a los top 20 del World Music,mantenindose casi 20 semanas en Londres por Blue Revolution Radio.

KARINA VAN RON fue invitada a hacer fotos para Hustler y la Playboy, por medio de su representante en Hollywood para $250,000 para la Playboy USA.
