Description
Chapel Hill, North Carolina singer-songwriter Andy Kuncl brings together a blend of alternative folk, funk and jazz.
Kuncl's percussive guitar playing style, and his honest, revealing lyrics have caught the attention of the media, and have been turning audience members into fans.
Kuncl's solo debut album TOO QUICKLY was released in February 1998. This album was recorded live in the studio in about a day and a half. Most of the songs were recorded only once, with a couple of mics on the guitar, one for voice, and two for the room. Engineer Wes Lachot worked to capture what Andy does on stage.
If you enjoy Andy live, you are sure to love this recording. Kuncl's sound is very clean--just a guy and his acoustic guitar. --John T. McCann
A charismatic young performer whose talents will continue to blossom in the coming years --Richard Middleton (Victory Music Review)
