Description
Trisha O'Keefe is an 20-year-old singer/songwriter from Northeast Pennsylvania. With 100+ copyrighted songs to her credit, O'Keefe has been a songwriter and recording artist since the age of 12. In addition to acoustic guitar and piano, O'Keefe also plays electric and bass guitar, as well as drums.
O'Keefe previously did a four-song pop/rock project at RedRock Recording in Saylorsburg, PA. This project gave Trisha a chance to stretch out vocally, hone her songwriting chops, and work with top musicians brought in from New York City for the project. Some of these songs are now featured in the Essential Music library, which places songs on network television and in films. Several of her songs have been used as source music during scenes on ABC's "All My Children."
In 2002, Trisha began writing and recording songs for her third project, her full length CD, "All The Honest Liars," recorded with producer/engineer Jim Klein which has a contemporary rock feel. This recording is reminiscent of O'Keefe's musical influences, including Sheryl Crow, Melissa Etheridge, Alanis Morissette, Jonatha Brooke, as well as bands like Veruca Salt and Heart.
Trisha can be seen playing regional venues in Pennsylvania. Her music can also be heard on many college and commercial radio stations throughout the country. She was selected by rock radio station WZZO to perform on their stage at Bethlehem, Pennsylvania's Musikfest, and has also performed at NYC rock club's CBGB's and The Bitter End.
