Description
Traveling has always inspired artists. New places, faces, and customs awaken fresh ideas and perspectives in the visitor.
The music found on Amelia was inspired by ideas of travel (motion, places, flight, the great aviator Amelia Earhart, etc.). As such, the music on this CD spans an unusual range of musical stylings - New Age, Smooth Jazz, Rock. Similar to the unpredictable nature of traveling, these songs may seem a bit unpredictable. But the same enjoyment that is experienced while traveling and encountering new and unexpected things is the same enjoyment that results from listening to this entire album. Similar to the varied places of the world, for all of the striking differences, the keen observer (listener) will detect common threads that bind.
