Description
WireWorld is the creative brainchild of producer/composer Allen Wentz, and includes players and singers that range from unknown monsters to some of the greatest players on the planet. Allen was an original band member (bassist/synthesist/vocalist) on one of the biggest hit singles in history, "Play That Funky Music" by Wild Cherry in the late 70's which picked up 2 Grammy nominations. He has since worked on projects too numerous to list, and WireWorld is the vehicle for some very ambitious bursts of creativity.
This first CD, "Love & Technology" garnered some pretty impressive press, sold a bit in Europe, and still sells 5 years after its initial release. A new CD, "Out of Warranty" is soon to be released, containing some of the most original work to date. Allen has also recently scored two independent films in the past year: "The Code", "Weather Report" (both shot), and has started work on "The Pack", which should begin shooting soon.
"I Get The Picture" has been updated, remixed and included in the bio-pic "Marilyn's Man", a documentary about Marilyn Monroe scheduled for world-wide release this spring.
