Description
"Dreams of Wind and Water" is a collection of solo piano improvisations reflecting a variety of moods, from the serenity of "Moonlight on the Black Sea" to the exuberance of "Sail Races". And while "Dreams" is primarily seductive easy listening, there are several cuts here that won't be hurt if they're cranked up on the drive home.
Daro's passionate style and melodic inventiveness have been rapidly gaining him fans around the world, and his teaming with Ed Bonk of LAZZ Promotions is making "Dreams of Wind and Water" a staple on New Age radio playlists.
Over the years, Daro played in rock, jazz, and blues bands, gave solo classical recitals, and wrote and performed scores for dozens of professional theatrical productions. He is currently at work on his next CD, scheduled for release in the spring of 2005. This will be a companion piece to "Dreams of Wind and Water", and while it will still feature the scintillating piano work of the "Dreams", the songs will also include hard-edged percussion, synthesizers, and a variety of world and ethnic instruments.
