Description
Ed's love for music and sharing God's truth with others through it is only surpassed by his love for his God and his family. Growing up in a broken home and becoming the man of God that he has become is only by the amazing grace of God. He knows that during those difficult years that God's hand was guiding him, protecting him, and molding him into the person he is today. For that reason, he wouldn't change anything that has happened in his past. Ed longs to reach out to a hurting world, to those struggling with life...their past, present or future...and let them know there's hope. God's love and grace is for everyone and there is nothing you could do that can change that and "it's a good thing".
That's what this solo project is all about. It's a Good Thing recognizes God's sacrifice, His grace and the providence and magnificence of God. It challenges Christians to live a life without compromise and draws non-believers to the life changing truth of the gospel of Christ.
Ed is the first to acknowledge that this project is not his own, but birthed from God. That's the only explanation. God gave him these songs to minister to a hurting and broken world. Ed's sole desire is to use his musical talents to the glory of God, his Father...his dad. His testimony is powerful, inspiring and changing every day. God is still molding, breaking, shaping and growing him.
