Description

Watching Eliza perform live is an exhilarating experience. A dynamic front woman, as well as a gifted keyboardist, Eliza's unforgettable shows have warranted her reputation as a top notch live performer and earned her headlining slots at preimere venues and festivals across the nation. Whether she is backed by a high energy, world-beat tinged band, or is performing with a stripped down acoustic combo, Eliza's shows never fail to touch the heart. Says Eliza "It's an electricity. And that they do. In March 2003 audiences in Austin, Texas were treated to Eliza's luminous live show when she performed at a packed showcase at the prestigious SXSW Music Festival. In April, Eliza was nominated for "Outstanding Pop Artist" and "Outstanding Songwriter" at the Detroit Music Awards.

Currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on her third CD, Eliza has written and recorded an amazing catalog of songs that evokes the best of Nikka Costa, Nelly Furtado, Alicia Keys, Macy Gray and Destiny's Child, while still remaining wholly her own.
