Description
Emily is a touring singer/songwriter/guitarist performing in a variety of venues. Her travels on the road have taken her talents to audiences in coffeehouses, restaurants, festivals, house concerts, live radio interviews and performances, listening rooms and concert halls, including the world-renowned Sheldon Concert Hall in St. Louis, Missouri. She began public performances in her hometown of St. Louis and for several years has been taking her music on the road. Some additional musical experiences include being a former weekly open mic host in St. Louis, a member of the acoustic folk/bluegrass trio The RedHouse WoodPickers, and composer of soundtrack music for the children's educational video "The Vowel Factory."
"The House at the End of the Road" being released in summer of 2004, features a new collection of Emily's original songs, presented with excellent style and musicianship. This CD a worthy addition to any collection. Her careful choice of accompanying musicians add pure magic and dynamics to her fine craft. The instruments added to Emily's true and clear vocals and guitar work are dobro, mandolin, viola, mandocello, bass, percussion, banjo, pedal steel, piano and beautiful harmonies.
"The House at the End of the Road" is Emily's second CD. Her first CD "Singing River", released in 2001, is also available by clicking on "Singing River" link below.
