Influenced by the Golden Era of Hip-Hop, Euphon is a sonic experiment embodying the voices of the frustrated and underappreciated while preserving the art form. Through thought provoking and emotionally driven material Euphon strikes chords that enable the group to connect with their audience. Originating from East Harlem, Mr. Fantastik and Slim Pikins hold true to their namesake; exhibiting eclectic blends of jazz, funk, and soul producing a sound that is pleasing to the ears. It is this mixture that frequently brings up a comparison to a sound that is reminiscent of A Tribe Called Quest, which is one of the group's musical influences.
With a humble yet confident approach, Euphon has allowed their sonic experiment to be experienced across various venues including the coveted MTV Area Tour Series as well as the 30th Anniversary Celebration of the Zulu Nation.
Euphon's debut EP Euphonics touches emotions from heartache and frustration, the constant struggle to fulfill dreams (Unbreakable), to happiness, pride and good times, past, present, and future (Live From Machito Sq., Member).
