Description

Macushla are Gary and Pam,who have spent over four years learning the art of music production.
When Pam and Gary first got together in 1992,Pam was so impressed with Gary's ability to write and produce songs on
a small multi-tracker,that she wanted to help take the music further,so Pam started writing songs and got involved in
singing and music production.It was important to keep the interest in music going whilst bringing up three teenage kid's,
a new marriage and a wild career move to play music together.
Pam was a Playboy bunny,model and a croupier in her younger days and had spent over two years mixing with top
celebrities,so she had good inside knowledge of film,media,music the lot.Gary had been in a band (101) which he
formed whilst serving time in prison as a youngster,the band became so good that they were on TV's Songs of praise,
and was voted back by viewers for a Christmas special.

Macushla have held many no1 spots on various sites and are part of the way forward for new artists and the new wave
of music across the internet,radio,and mobile phones.The album has been developed on and with the internet.

Macushla have an up-beat deep bass sound with a 70's- 80's song flavor mixed with today's digital sounds giving a
familar and likable sound.Their influence comes from anything that sounds good,whether it's from Mars or India the
disco or ballroom.All the music was done at home on a pc and various equipment,using samples of drum beats,synths,
bass,etc. along with Pam and Gary's vocals,Gary playing bass,guitar,various keyboards,midi bass,midi strings.
Listen out for an acoustic guitar put through effects on "Gonna get ya" this track features a sample singer,Pam and
Pam's daughter Joanna.Mixed and produced by Pam,this track won Macushla a Zoom effects system and was
described as "ear candy" by a fellow DJ.

Another track "Kept ya waiting" features some excellent guitaring,it won a competition on Bt and was choosen for
MTV's undiscoverd artists!! it was clearly a winner with it's reviews " Music is art".
The title track "Smile" is Macushla's latest production and has a geat uplifting pop/dance beat,with a nice message,
Smile.Recent reviews from listeners who heard Smile played on London radio station,L.B.C (the Clive Bull show)
seem to back it as a great 80's track,"Love vocation" was discribed as original,but their clear favorate was "Lonely night".
it was compared with bands,The Hollies,Fleetwoodmac.An LBC spokesman said they had never ever recieved such a
massive response from their listeners to a music CD and were also contacted by the Times music critic for Macushla's
details ,so it's official,"Macushla are going to be huge",says one of London's top radio presenters.

Darren Bull of Pheonix fm played "Cant talk" and made it his track of the week in drive time,he said it reminded of a
sunny day and took it on holiday with him to Spain!! Darren thought they would like the track there,as it has a very
Spanish sounding guitar.
Dj Brownie took Macushla's track "Drip drop" to Dagenham football club and played it at half time,it went down great
with the football fans.It was also no'1 on Hitmix uk,as there most requested song,beating Shaggy and Madonna.

Radio funny man persenter Steve Allen Played "I need to dance" which is a dance mix that gets people up,it never fails!!!
Steve said it sounds great in his Bently,a real good driving track and could't stop dancing to it,and has now lost weight.
Macushla hope you have a listen to their tracks as there are a variety of acoustic,theatrical pop,and mellow dance.
Their music style always comes in slow and builds into a livelier tune,so their endings are always the best bit.
And dont miss the dog on "Cant resist" the family Pit-bull (Reggie)who came to stay whilst we were recording.He spent
months with Gary and Pam and when they were on the final recodings,he started singing the tune in a deep growling
bass that went with the song great!! Gary and Pam were so amazed at his tallent,that they kept him in at the end of
the track with a couple of growls as a reminder.
