Description
Composer and lyricist, singer and guitarist, Mathew Joseph, from the coastal state of Kerala in the south west of India, brings to the stage of World Music his new CD release, Firefly - a reflection of his experiences with the magic and mystery of his homeland, and of his many travels in the high Himalayas.
A childhood filled with music, many years spent exploring a variety of musical styles and his recent re-union with multi-instrumentalist Oliver Rajamani and reggae virtuoso David Estes have resulted in a delightful celebration of sound and a refreshing journey of the spirit.
A practicing physician for nearly twenty years, with a keen interest in Complimentary and Alternative Medicine, he now lives and works in Bermuda with his wife Sophie and sons Mathew and Mammen.
