Description
Black Son artist Mony Mone mixes hip hop skills with elements of hardcore street rap on his solo debut album, "Eclipse". Along with Strange Fruit members S1 and Myth, hip hop duel Verbal Seed, and BUTTAfinga, Mony Mone is part of the hip hop supergroup Third Eye Militia. The six Mc's released the classic album "Buried Alive" and layed the foundation for Black Son Records & Entertainment. Now, after being featured on several compilations, and lending verses to releases by his Black Son family, Mony Mone is now ready to make his presence known on his own. The album promises to satisfy backpackers with songs like "Street Value" and "Demons to Diamonds", pleases the ladies with "Panties and Bras" and "Dreamgirl", and keeps it gangsta with "Get Em' Up" and "In This Life". Assisting Mone with the production are S1 (Strange Fruit), Oneself (Verbal Seed), and BUTTAfinga (Third Eye Militia). Mony Mone is also gearing up to release his second solo album, with a 2004 4th quarter release.
