Description
Rockin' tracks, lyrically smart, and production that doesn't suck the life out of the music. That's what this debut from Careless Sherman set out to do, and they accomplished the mission. This CD runs the gamut, from the soulful vocals and bluesy rock of "Spent My Life", to the quirky storytelling and twisted guitar playing on "Outdone", the album is a modern day nod to the musical styles of rock, blues, and country.
Professionally recorded at Azalea Studios, Brentwood, TN. Professionally mixed at House of David, Nashville, TN.
Professionally mastered at Yes Master, Nashville, TN.
Including the talents of:
*Clive Gregson - solo artist, Richard Thompson Band and Nanci Griffith
*Robert Chevrier - The Mavericks, Raul Malo
*Chas Williams - David Gates (Bread), Wynonna Judd
Brian Pepo started writing songs in 1985. Years and years of lyrics on paper and rough cassettes littered his desk and file cabinets. In 2004, Brian saw the opportunity to finally produce his first CD as a vehicle to promote his songwriting. As a band project, it gathers together musician friends that spent years playing together in various projects on stages and in studios.
