Description
Westwood, New Jersey native Chrissy Roberts proudly introduces her debut CD, Patchwork. This independent project, a collection of original folk/pop style songs, has been described as "soothing" and "truly original" by listeners.
Songs such as "Waterfall" and "Fly" describe change and letting go and the subtle beauty in these experiences. "Tonight", a love song, speaks of living in the moment and being who you are now, with all the possibilities that moment brings. Others like "Make Believe" bring the listener on a ride through the empowerment of realizing that they are not in a healthy relationship. Lending her rich voice to vocals on "Don't Let Me Fall" and "Waterfall" is Mississippi native and New Jersey resident Corinn Rolfs.
Chrissy Roberts got a guitar for Christmas her freshman year in college and says she "never learned when to put it down". Music truly seems to mean the world to her. She hopes you will find meaning in some of her songs as well...
