Description
Based in New York City, frequently traveling to Germany and Turkey, writing, recording and performing.
Born in England, Andrew began playing guitar aged 7 and gave his first concert aged 12. Studied at the "Royal Northern College of Music", receiving master-classes from guitar legend, John Williams and a degree in Music.
Andrew began composing and together with fellow guitar student, Paul Dwyer, performed all over the UK, also in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Cyprus, Germany and Turkey. 2 albums with Sony Music Europe, 3 radio hits, radio tours, and a support tour with Suzanne Vega.
Lived in Turkey for 13 years, co-wrote and co-produced 7 albums (in excess of 3 million sales), for the Turkish music icon Zlf Livaneli and local stars Aylin and Mustafa Sandal.
Radio shows and appearances for Power FM, Turkey's most successful radio station. Andrew & Paul wrote and released their own album in Turkey (singing in Turkish).
Sponsors included BMW and Quicksilver, and the album received positive reviews from"Billboard".Several concerts in Turkey's 5.000- seat Amphitheatres, and a multitude of TV appearances.In 1998, Andrew won the "Crystal Apple", for the best radio jingle of the year in Turkey (Panasonic).
He composed and recorded the instrumental guitar album, "Africa", in Senegal, Winter 2000.
He released his solo album, "the Wandering Stranger" in 2001. A new album wil be out this Summer (2005).
