Description
Darrel Andrews, composer/Songwriter has been listed on the Louisiana Artists Roster and has worked as a Resident Artist in music composition for the Shreveport Regional Arts Council. Formal music studies were done at Southern University, Baton Rouge, LA and VanderCook College of Music, Chicago, Il. Mr. Andrews has had compositions performed by the Shreveport and Marshall Symphony Orchestras and blues singer Bobby Blue Bland. Ray Charles sponsored a recording session on 7 of Andrews' tunes during the '70s. "Tranquil Images" is a collection of some of the many instrumental themes that have been designed to help with relaxation. A music video, with the same title and basically the same compositions, is now complete and available.
