Description
I spent many years playing blues guitar in various bands, gigs in clubs mostly. Finally I got sick of trying to keep a decent band together and decided to do my own thing for a while. I do guitar instrumentals, mostly blues, but also stuff along the lines of something Santana might do.
The Blues is the music I love the most and is probably what I play the best. Most people consider me to be a good feel player, someone who puts a lot of emotion in his playing.
When I do a blues instrumental I always try and have a main melody line or a hook so that it is a song and not just a jam. I love hearing guys wail on guitar, but at the end of the day I prefer hearing something that has a hook or a main theme.
In addition to "Feeling Blue" I also have a latin rock CD out called "Evening in Brazil".
