Personal Info. and Background:

I have 25 years of singing, playing the guitar and writing songs. Have been playing the guitar and singing since I was 12 years old. I would play in the school guitar concerts, talents shows, and community events. Continue to do.

Happily married, with 5 great kids!

Love the outdoors and animals, music and most importantly...my family.

Music Influences/Style/Vocals:
Vocals can be compared to Pat Benatar and Ann Murrary. The Slow-Country Rock Music style is a mix of a kicky Mary Chapin-Carpenter, a mellow Ann Murrary and rocky Pat Benetar.
I was also influenced by Classic Rock groups like Fleetwood Mac & Stevie Nicks, Pat Benatar, and Country Artists like Kenny Rogers, The Carpenters, Country Legend John Denver, and the love songs of Lionel Richie.

On The Album:

The album has turned the ears of people of all ages to it. It causes them to say they have a song "stuck in my head."

The album theme of "No Harden Heart" is based on Hebrews 4:7. "If today you hear His voice harden not your hearts." Therefore, the lyrics are upbeat, positive, and light yet have a message to not let things bother ya.

I began recording in 1995. So, "it all started when..." I took my album to Glenn Bernardis of Buffalo, N.Y and together we co-produced "No Harden Heart" at his studio, GB Audio. It was a great experience working with Glenn.

I entered a 5 songs in 2000 to the Jim Halsey's- Billboard's 10th Song Contest upon which 2 songs made TOP 500 and 3 songs made TOP 1500 world wide.

OTHER AWARDS:
Recently, the New York State Senate gave me an award. I received the New York State Senate's "Woman of Distinction" award in 2004, in Senator Pat McGee's Disctrict, for my personal-family commitments, achievements within the community, and for the album production & Billboard recognition. New York women of the past, such as Lucille Ball, Susan B. Anthony and Blessed Kateri Tekawitha have received this award too, to name a few.
