Description
The Curried Chicken Suite, David DeGeand's second independent CD, is all out jazz zynthesizer music. The compositions are in a modern acid jazz style that complements the use of synthesizer solos and synthesizer orchestrations. The synthesizer voices are programed specifically for each composition. The compositions vary in form; some with extended forms and open solos, others with traditional blues and song forms. The heart of the music is improvisation, surrounded by exotic melodies, harmonies, and counterpoint. The music is influenced by traditional jazz, modern jazz, rock, blues, and ethnic music.
