Don-Fred
Don's music is that of a storyteller. He draws from the roots of his 60's generation music and puts it into a modern day context. Don's voice has a bluesy quality to it and the instrumentation content has no boundaries - from guitar to orchestration.

Description
Don has been singing all of his life and started writing music when he was fourteen. He began work on this album as a way to stay connected to his children after a divorce at age forty-four. All four kids participated, as well as Don's wife-to-be. They backed up Don's singing and guitar playing with parts for the mandolin, flute, trumpet, cello, and drums. They found fun in playing together and made lasting memories of the experience. That fun melds with the melancholy Don felt when some of the songs were written, alone and straight from the heart. Don is writing constantly and accumulating a variety of songs for future CD and DVD projects.
