Description
Don Simmons was born in East Texas and grew up in Louisiana. He was exposed to country and gospel music all of his life. He and his younger brother sung gospel music on a radio station in Arkansas as very young boys.
His love for country music which included Western Swing, Cajun, and Country music grew into an obsession for him to write his own country as well as gospel songs and to eventually sing them in his own style. After fathering and raising 4 sons he followed that dream. In 1994 he wrote and recorded the ten songs on this album. The first song he charted was "My Bible Tells Me So." It did so well that it was called a classic by all that heard it. The other songs on this album followed. He has won many awards on national and international Independent Award shows. All that hear this album say that the album is a classic and is a album for all seasons.
