Description
It all began on a sunny afternoon in Sienna, Italy, Summer of 2000. Eva and Aaron sat and people-watched at the Piazza del Campo. They were inspired to start singing together, and they did! After some beautiful Italians stopped staring, the duo decided to try this at home. Acquiring Ana soon after, the group focused on chamber music and were called "Star Element."
They worked on originals, improvisation, and vocal chamber music together, also adding Christmas carols during the holiday season and becoming "Polaris" and "Morning Star." They worked with other talented local musicians at this time. However, the heart of the group always remained a trio.
Using their diverse creative skills, the mostly classically rooted trio began exploring a passion for electronic dance music. Eva has her roots in smooth blues and penetrating jazz vocal performance and is also an accomplished bass player. Ana has an incredible spirit and vocal accuracy, as well as wielding a killer, sultry alto range. Aaron, the half-Australian producer, has written songs and sung since childhood and has a decade of electronic music production experience as well as owning 300+ dance CD's.
After succeeding with their new sound, nR Element began as the "Gaia Project" in the Summer of 2002 and changed the project's name soonafter.
nR Element collaborated with many great people and finally released its first studio album entitled "Miscommunication" in July 2004.
The group is now concentrating on live shows & is rumored to have started working on new material.
