Description
Adrienne Nightingale is a folk singer songwriter based in Brooklyn, NY. She tours annually both abroad and the United States seeking to spread a message of love and light. Her folk sound has a wide range of influences with strong hints of both country and bluegrass. Song topics range from political and environmental to confessional and love. At four years old Adrienne adamantly told her Mormon parents that when she grew up she wanted to be a singer, smoke cigarettes and wear a bikini! By the time she was twelve she was doing all three and was no longer Mormon. After a period of teenage rebellion, Adrienne found her own personal path in life. She now gives her heart and soul to music because she believes each person must do what they feel passionate about, and music always inspires her. She hopes that her music will inspire and impact others positively. She plays at various bars and coffee shops in NYC and Weschester on a regular basis. Each summer Adrienne embarks upon a musical tour, journeying to meet others and engage with nature. Listeners always comment on the tranquility and peace in her voice. Her intense vocal style and sparse acoustic guitar-based arrangements give the music a delicate tone that is perfectly accompanied by the bare-bones production.
