Description
A new rock band comprised of four 13 and 14 year old boys who are rapidly closing the generation gap between classic rock and new school rock. They have a musical style that is reminiscent of early Rolling Stones and The Kinks, fused with a modern day Jet, and the vocals of a seasoned veteran. The Comic Book Heroes deliver a musical performance that significantly surpasses their age.

Biography
In December 2003, Craig MacGregor, bassist for platinum recording artist Foghat, went to his sons sixth grade school concert to hear him play the drums, what he came away with was an idea that has blossomed into a new band, and the best time of his life.
The Comic Book Heroes made their debut in May 2004 and immediately got requests for additional performances. So, after the summer break, the band regrouped and began rehearsing under Craigs direction. In November 2004, they played their first public show. They were an instant success.
Three months later, at ages 11 and 12, they secured a monthly house gig at a premier family restaurant and entertainment complex.
Within six months they were chosen to be the grand prize on the Pennsylvania Cable Networks Home Work Help show, appearing live on TV for the Amazing Kids sweepstakes. They appeared on the local news, were featured in the entertainment section of the local Sunday paper, launched their website, www.comicbookheroes.info, and began to build a fan base. The gigs kept coming, providing the Comic Book Heroes with many new performance experiences.
By the end of 2005, the band performed more than 25 shows at a variety of venues, including nightclubs, festivals, coffeehouses, school functions, corporate events and restaurants; drawing a wide ranging audience of kids, teens, moms and dads.
The Comic Book Heroes just finished recording their first three-song EP/CD, which was released March 2006. Their self-titled debut includes a rocked out version of the Ray Charles classic, Hit the Road, Jack. On March 24, 2006, the Comic Book Heroes played their first major venue, opening the show for Foghat and Steppenwolf at the American Music Theater in Lancaster, PA.
