Description
Atmospheric Journey is a collection of Progressive, Hard Rock, Guitar Synth, and Acoustic Guitar pieces combined together into a concept album. It features a variety of styles and influences by artists such as: Ritchie Blackmore and Deep Purple, Pat Metheny, Classical artist Christopher Parkening, Marillion, Steve Howe, and Alex Lifeson.
Charles Brown is from Denver, Colorado, and has been active as a musician for over 30 years, performing throughout Colorado and the western USA in a variety of bands, and now currently concentrating on solo material.
Charles is involved with the Colorado Art Rock Society which is active in putting together performances and promoting Progressive music in the Denver area. Charles is associated with Fossil Records, and has also written guest columns for the instructional site "Chops from Hell".
Charles has also been featured in the Guitar Publication "20th Century Guitar", and his classical playing has been featured in an independent film "2-4-1" that has premiered at several Asian film festivals.
