Description
Creating smooth soulful songs that capture the human experience, Charlie blends his natural affinity to R&B with Soul, Funk, Gospel, and Middle Eastern flavors.
Born & raised in Fairfield,CT, the half-Irish, half-Gypsy singer grew up with a diverse musical soundscape including: Anita Baker, Stevie Wonder, Mariah Carey, George Michael, Prince, and traditional Greek,Arab Gypsy music.
This NYC based artist is a graduate of Bennington College and The Berklee College of Music. Charlie has performed at The 2006 GLBT expo, The Bitter End, The Living Room, CBGB'S, Heaven, The Slide, and Splash Bar. He has also given concerts of traditional and contemporary gospel music at the United Nations for Queen Noor and The GLBT community center.
Charlie has written, arranged, and co-produced his self-entitled debut album with Grammy winning producer, Tommy Faragher. He is currently working on a remix album with dance music producer, LG-5, known best for his work with Amber and Justin Timberlake.
