Description
If you like the music of the Wiggles and Raffi with a touch of the 60s, and lots of variety in style - get ready for a fun and eclectic musical adventure with Dale Freeman! A seasoned jazz guitarist and multi-talented musician, playing several instruments on his CD, Dale has been playing guitar for thirty-one years and performing professionally for twenty-five years. The 2003 release of his CD "Just Say Hello!" was his debut into the world of children's music. "I did it for my own children to start," notes Dale, "then it just went wacky with gig after gig and now the CD!"
With strong successes during his first several concerts for children, Dale was easily convinced to continue to play and record upbeat and silly music for the toddler and preschool set, all geared to inspire young children's imagination and creativity. His shows have been crowded, and his music is filled with energy, fun and cleverness.
Dale's music incorporates different styles of music to engage young children - The tracks (Freeman originals and several traditional tunes) contain echoes of 60s bands like the Beatles, the Byrds, and the Beach Boys, as well as Celtic, latin, classical, and blues influences. There is even a polka! The last three pieces on the CD are sleepy and gentle bedtime songs: "Sleepy Waltz," "Good Night, Good Night," and the beautiful "Do You See the Moon?," will have you closing your eyes along with your child. This unique CD is one for your child's collection - If you want your child introduced to various styles of music - Dale Freeman's "Just Say Hello!" is that CD.
